Book an Appointment

Do I need an appointment, or do you accept walk-ins?

Appointments are recommended so a collector or notary is reserved for you, and you can book online in under a minute. Walk-ins are accommodated whenever the schedule allows, but pre-booked clients are seen first. Employers arranging on-site or group collections should always reserve time in advance so we can staff and document the appointment properly.

What is chain of custody, and why does it matter?

Chain of custody is the documented record of every person who handles a specimen or document, from the moment of collection to final reporting. A complete, unbroken chain is what makes a drug test result, DNA collection, or fingerprint-based record defensible to an employer, a court, or a federal agency. Every collection we perform is documented to that standard.

What is the difference between DOT and non-DOT testing?

DOT collections follow the federal procedures in 49 CFR Part 40 for safety-sensitive transportation employees, with strict steps for collection, custody, and reporting. Non-DOT collections follow workplace protocols tailored to each employer's own policy. Our collectors are trained to perform both to the same documentation standard, so your records hold up under review either way.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Bring a current, government-issued photo ID for any service — fingerprinting, notary, DNA collection, or drug and alcohol testing. For notary appointments, do not sign your documents in advance; they must be signed in the notary's presence. Employers should provide any required forms or custody paperwork from their testing program or background screening request.

How do DNA collections work at your office?

A trained collector performs a quick, painless buccal (cheek) swab collection and documents it under chain of custody. We collect and securely transfer the specimen to the requesting party's designated recipient. Questions about turnaround time and results should be directed to the agency, attorney, or employer that requested the test.
